If you are to do a list of top 5 most creative and talented online comedians, there is someone who would definitely top the list and that person is no other, than, Ayobami Olakunle Ajewole whom we all know as WOLI AGBA (@woliagba_ayoajewole).

Woli Agba is one of the most consistent comedians and has been able to effectively use trend to stay relevant in the industry.

The 30+ year old husband and father is a graduate of Lead City University where he read Economics. His career as a comic actor started as far back as 2002, with Christ Chosen Vessel Dance/Drama Ministry popularly referred to as Alfa Sule. He continued with his brother; Alfa Sule and also was into stage acting until 2017 when he decided to follow the trend by delving into skit making on social media.

According to him “You need to follow trend and in achieving that, I came up with the concept Instagram Parish Ministry (IPM) with me as Pastor, Dele as Choir Master and the other workers in church. By virtue of IPM, everyone who uses Instagram is a church member”

For Woli Agba, it is almost impossible to say any skit in particular brought him into limelight because he has been in the faces of many for about 19 years and the advent of IPM is just a plus.

To be honest, Woli Agba stands out because of his relatable contents and how natural he does his thing. I mean, you can always tell he is not just acting, he is being that character.

Interestingly and weirdly, his role models are Messi and Ronaldo – the footballers, whose consistencies and the fact that they are not carried away by their many trophies, but still work as though they have none, are worth emulating for him.

Just like every other celebrity out there, Woli Agba has his own challenges that we fans never get to know about. For him, his biggest challenge is usually when he drops a skit because he begins to think of how to do another without falling short of the standards. It’s really not easy, to be honest.

Oh well, as a pastor that he is, he has no scandals and he honestly hopes to keep it that way.
